I have recently acquired a duplicate icon for 'Automatic Updates' in the
control panel. Can anyone advise how to remove?

I have searched the Registry and can find nothing that suggests two
Automatic Update icons in the Control Panel.

All the Control Panel applets are files with the .CPL filetype and are
located in your \WINDOWS\system32 folder.

Take a look there and you should find them all and (maybe) see a duplicate
that can be deleted.

Martin.
