control how messages are deleted!

When I delete a message, it is moved to the Deleted Items folder. That's
fine most of the time, but sometimes I want to delete a message
permanently - and now! So I have to delete it, then go to the Deleted Items
to find it in the list, and then delete it again - which permanently deletes
it. This is an irritating process....

Suppose a piece of junk gets through my spam filter and arrives in my inbox.
I want to get rid of it immediately. Is there a way to PERMANENTLY delete
it without sendng it via the Deleted Items folder?

I do NOT want to permanently delete EVERY message in this way (I know I can
set that). I do want the Delete action to send them to the Deleted Items
folder by default, but I want to be be able to bypass it sometimes and
proceed directly to permanent deletion. Is there a way?
Thanks,
Jeff

Hold down the Shift Key while you select Delete (the same for most Windows
applications). You'll get a warning message unless you disable it
(Tools | Options | Other tab | Advanced Options .. warn before ....

Also, add the sender to blocked senders in preference to permanently
deleting the message.
