Recover permanently deleted files from Achieve Folders

I have accidentally deleted a file from the Deleted Items folder in the
Achieve Folders (i.e. in the PC). I know, usually, if you permemantly
deleted a file from Inbox, it will go straight to Deleted Items folder within
the Outlook's Mailbox (in the Outlook). You then go to the the Deleted Items
Folder within the Outlook's Mailbox and go to "Tool" and click "Recover
Deleted Items". It will then prompt you a list of files you have recently
deleted (permanently) and select the one you would like to recover and that's
it. However, this time, I deleted a file from the Achieved Folders and it
went straight to the Deleted Items Folders in the Achieved Folders. I then
followed the same procedure but this time the function "Recover Deleted
Items" is in grey (i.e. inactive or non-selectable). Can you advise me how
to recover a permanently deleted file from the Achieved Folders?

I'm confused. To "permanently" delete an item in Outlook you press Shift-Del
and it doesn't go into any deleted items folder at all.
What exactly are you doing? If all you did was to press "delete" then the
item should be in the deleted items folder and all you do is to drag it back
to the original location.

Thanks Gordon. What I meant was:-
- when I first received the email in the Inbox, i dragged it into a folder
(let's call it folder "A" in the Achive Folders.
- I then deleted the email from the folder "A" (which is in the Achive
Folders).
- it went to the Deleted Items in the Achive Folders
- I accidentally cleared all my emails in the Deleted Items in the Achive
Folders (another word all emails in the Deleted Items have been permanently
deleted)
- I've tried to retrieved the email by

On the Go menu, click Folder List, and then in the Navigation Pane, click
Deleted Items.
On the Tools menu, click Recover Deleted Items.
Unfortunately the Recover Deleted Items is greyed (i.e. inactive or
non-selectable)

Thanks
John

Ah. The Recover Deleted Items is a function of Exchange Server - it doesn't
apply to stand-alone versions....

Archive Folders are in a .PST file. Some 3rd party softwares claim to be
able to retrieve deleted items in PST files. You may want to google for
these Outlook PST file utilities, if the e-mail you deleted is important.
