continuous rebooting problems with a Presrio 4090 us pc

I have a compaq 4090 that reboots on its own, any ideas.
I put in a new hard drive because the test in bios, said
imenate hard drive failure, still happens, I then put in
a good agp video card, still the same problem. In looking
through the win32 sys file i noticed a duplicate of the
Shdocvw.dll file, could this cause it ?

First things first. Right click "my computer" select properties, advanced,
startup and recovery.
Uncheck "automatically reboot" and save.

Next time the error occurs, your computer should blue screen rather than
reboot. Report the message on the blue screen here and someone will likely
be able to help you.
