Continuous Reboot

I have had a main board failure and replaced with as close
a replacement as I could find but am unable to get back
into the system which begins to boot and then resets. Has
any one gat any good tips on how to get into the system
without a complete reformat and reinstall. Win2000 server.
All sugestions gratefully received.
 
Are you sure you do not have a "Sasser" virus on your hard
drive? You are describing very closely what Sasser does.
 
Please provide more information. When does it reboot? Is it during the kernel load, or initialization phase? After you log in? Does the OS inform you of pending restarts?
