It used to be that when I right clicked on a .jpg etc file in windows
explorer the context menu would give me the option to set the pic as
wallpaper. Since getting this wmc computer I no longer have that
option.
Any suggestions?

For that option to be displayed in the Context Menu you need to set the
display to show Thumbnails.
