I have Outlook set up so I can synchronize my desktop and laptop. However,
when I am at home (off-line) and I create a new e-mail message then click the
"TO" button and then click the drop-down arrow in the section "Show Names
from the," only the Global Address List is showing up. How do I get my
Contacts to show up here. (Contacts are showing in the "folder list" and I
can send a message to a contact by right clicking and choosing "New Message
to Contact"

Do you have your contacts set to show as an Outlook Address Book? In the
folder list, right-click on Contacts and scroll to properties. Click on the
Outlook Address Book tab. Check the box that says "show this folder as an
e-mail Address Book."

Let me know if that helps.

The box is not checked but it is grayed out.

That's what it was. I'm setting this up on someone else's laptop and didn't
have it at the time to check the on-line setting. Thanks for your help!
