Contacts list in Windows Mail layout

Does any one know how to make the contacts appear under the folders list in
the layout for Windows Mail, the way they used to be in Outlook Xpress?

Windows Mail doesn't have this option because of the new contacts format.
You can right click the Toolbar and select Customize and add a button for
the Contacts on that toolbar.

You can add contacts to the sidebar. Then it's almost like OE but contacts
pane is outside of OE window.

any way to make MS bring it back ... i see a lot of complaints about it
