Contacts in Gadgets

Hi! I am having the hardest time populating my contact list on my Contacts
gadget. I imported about 30 addresses from my Outlook Contacts to Windows
Contacts and they do not show up on my gadget. Am I doing something
wrong???How do I populate the list.
Also, are the various layouts for the contact list in gadgets????

Thanks!

I looked at this gadget for about 30 seconds before deciding it was a
pointless and clunky gizmo. Why use it? What do you really want to achieve?

I have no idea what you're doing wrong but it's what I like about WM best.
All my contacts are in my sidebar contacts gadget. 2 clicks on your desktop
open up your page. Click send when done. That's it! Wayne

Probably as I rarely work from the desktop, but keep mail, browser etc etc
open and hop between those windows - but each to their own...

Actually I had a quick look at it again - I certainly wouldn't use it as a
main contacts repository - ok I guess if you wanna keep a copy of a few
names. Doesn't help the OP though...

You rejected this gadget after 30 sec. while I spent three months trying to
figure out how to put a contact address on my letter. I finally resorted to
typing the 1st letter and letting auto-complete do the rest. Why can't it be
like Hotmail. One click. That was the only thing I liked about Hotmail, and
now I have no reason for missing it.
I like not ever having to enter my address and password and now it's a cinch
to send a letter with this gadget. It coudn't be easier your way, could it?

It's more a matter of how one is used to working - I have things set up with
Windows Live Mail so that I don't have to enter any address or password,
plus as I said I tend to keep those apps open...

Thanks. This thread has been a respite for the moment from more pressing
Vista matters. I'm not ready for WML (or is it the other way around?) right
now. I have enough problems. Wayne. No reply nec.
