Contacts email missing

We do not use the Exchange server for our Outlook everything is stored
locally. The other day the email, contacts and the folders I had created
didsappeared. My mail from march and earlier is still available. is there a
way I can retrieve this information?

If it was stored locally, it was being saved in a PST file. Perhaps there
was a disconnect b/w Outlook and this PST.

To open a PST, go to File > Open > Outlook Data File (or something else
depending on which version you are using) and then you would need to know
where the PST was saved to browse for it and open it.

It's unlikley it was archived, because that usually moves all the older
data, not the newer. But make sure some random archive was not performed to
move the data.
