Hi,

I've got a Windows Mobile 5 phone and when I got a new laptop I synced
it with this so all my contacts from my desktop would be copied to it.
This has happened fine but the display as field for all my contacts
email addresses only shows the e-mail address. Is there any way to
force Outlook to default them all to use the Name (email address)
format that is on my desktop. My desktop has it displaying correctly so
I think it must be a strange Outlook issue. It's not practical to do it
manually as I have a large number of contacts.

Thanks in advance,

Rob.

Got a version for that Outlook?

Oh yeah sorry it's 2003.

Where are you looking when you see the Display As value, on the PDA or in
Outlook? What steps can I take to reproduce what you are examining?

I have no idea how to reproduce it, PDA doesn't have an email display
value.

Is there anyway just to do a bulk update? Even a script?

Thanks,

Rob.

If you can't tell anyone what you're examining, how would you expect anyone
to tell you how to change it?

I mentioned in my first post that it was Outlook on my newly synced
laptop that is displaying it incorrectly where as my desktop is showing
correctly as I want them displayed with name (email address). The
display as field on every email address is displaying just as email
address. So my original question was how do I get Outlook to display in
the format I want without manually changing them all?

Thanks,

Rob.
