Contacts don't appear in the address book.

I checked the properties on the “Contacts†and noticed under the “outlook
address book†tab, “show this folder as an e-mail address book†is unchecked
and grayed out to where I can’t change it. Just under that, "Name of the
address book, contacts†is also grayed out. I have tried adding a new
address book, but the path to the “contacts†never appears. In Outlook 2003
this is under Tools\ email accounts\ view or change existing directories or
address books\ Outlook address book. Double click on Outlook address book
and the path to contacts is empty. Removing the contact is the only option.
How do I add the contact path back?

Russ,
I've tried the instructions before and that didn't fix the problem. I can
add an address book. Then when I go to the "contacts" properties to choose
"contacts" as my address book, it is grayed out. The check box above it is
unchecked and grayed out. I need to be able to check that box to get this to
work. This user is a local admin. So, if it were a permission issue, I
would think that should fix it. Any other ideas?
