Contacts as an e-mail address book

Hi

I'm installing Outlook 2003 for several 100 users on a Citrix/TS farm. I
have created a MST using CIW, from where I’m installing Outlook. Everything
works fine, but users isn't able to use Contacts as for new e-mails (the
checkbox is greyed out) The Outlook Address Book (mapi) component is added as
a component in creating the MST file, but it is not visible in the users
outlook profile (that's probably why checkbox is greyed out). If I manually
add Outlook Address Book in users profile, it works.

Can anyone tell how to make this works in conjunction with MST file?

There apparently is a problem with Outlook's processing of the .prf file that the MST includes for the purpose of generating each user's Outlook mail profile. If the user does not have admin rights on the machine (as they won't in your scenario), the Outlook Address Book does not get added to the profile. Right now, the only workaround is to add it manually. Microsoft is aware of the problem.
