Contacts appear but no address book?

Hello -

A friend has gotten a new machine and all her email/contacts have been
transferred - kinda/sorta.
(Outlook 2003) You can look at the contacts folder and see all information
but if you click on the address book icon nothing is displayed. I tried to
right-click on the folder select properties and go to the Outlook address
tab but Outlook will not let me check "Show this folder as
an E-mail address book". It is dimmed out.

How do I get around that?

Is there some else I should be looking at?

Thanx so much in advance
George

Go into Tools > Email Accounts, and under the directory section at the
bottom click add a new directory or address book. That should allow you to
add the Outlook address book.

OK - I did that and it asks for a selection
Internet directory service(ldap) or additional address books

Do I select additional address books and choose
Outlook Address Book or Personal Address Book?

My guess is OUTLOOK address Book - afterwards I right-click on the folder
and show as email address book? does this sound correct?
