Contact Tab missing in IPM.Contact form ribbon

There are supposed to be 3 tabs on the ribbon in the contact form...(Contact,
Insert, and format text). In my current installation of Office 2007 plus,
the Contact tab is missing. I have uninstalled all microsoft office products
and reinstalled them, but this did not help. I have run the find & repair,
but it did not help.

I can add the Contact tab items to the quick access toolbar. I cannot find
a way to turn the Contact tab back on though.

I have also tried using the ribbon customizer i found out about on technet, I
can add and remove existing tabs and new tabs, but when I reset the ribbon or
add and remove the contact tab nothing appears.

Is there some other switch somewhere that turns this on?

Ok, sorry to make this a problem, but I have found a soulution. Apparently
it was either the Plaxo addin or alladins addin. I disabled the alladins and
plaxo updated itself at the same time so I am not sure which one was causing
the fault.
