activities tab does not filter for current contact

activities tab of a contact item in outlook 2007 does not filter the
activities for the current contact. instead, it displays the entire
activities entered so far.
how can I correct this?

it displays activities for all contacts in that folder.
not just the ones for the one I view.
hope it is clear.

Tried resetting the Activity views already?
The activity views can get broken by importing your messages from a previous
pst-file. Then it usually only works for new items.
If that is not the case for you, it could also be caused by a corruption in
the pst-file itself. See if checking it for issues solves it;
