While in Windows Mail I click on Tools/Windows Contacts. I right click on a
contct to send an e-mail to. Click on Action/send e-mail. I am sent to
Microsoft Office Outlook, which I don't use and don't want. It is on my new
PC as a trial version of Microsoft Office, that I don't intend to buy. What
do I have to do to configure/associate Windows Contacts with Windows Mail?
The undesireable alternative is to find the contact and find out what his
e-mail ID is. Have to copy it to paper since it can't be copied and pasted.

Control Panel | Programs | Default Programs
Make Windows Mail your default mail program.
Warning: unless you uninstall Outlook it will make itself default every
time it is updated.
