Connects all the time

I have set up several dial up connections and a DSL connection for use at home and when out doing my rounds. I have no problem connecting to the internet etc but when I dont want to connect my laptop will try and connect without asking me first. This become really annoying when for whatever reason a connection is not available and every 60 secs it redials and fails interupting any work I was doing. Can not find how to stop this under individual connection properties on internet options.

please help.

Try this:

IE > Tools > Internet Options > Connections > Never dial a connection
