Connector to MSN Premium

Am running Outlook 2003 with connector syncing with MSN Premium. The Outlook
is installed on two computers - one running XP (SP3), the other Vista (SP1).
The object is to use MSN Premium to keep both computers in sync -- mail,
notes, contacts and calendar.

Everything EXCEPT calendar is ok, and calendar is mostly ok. Individual
appointments sync correctly, so do recurring appointments which are not
marked as "all day" (i.e., a distinct start and finish time in the same day).
But, a birthday entry, anniversary entry, or an all-day recurring
appointment, is put in as GMT time, so is 5 hours off when it synced to the
other machine. If it is the Vista machine syncing first, the
birthday/anniversary shows on the correct day and the previous day on the XP
machine. If it is the XP syncing first, it shows up on the Vista machine as
the day following the correct date as well as the correct day.

I've checked time and date on all machines -- the time zone is set to
Eastern Time (with daylight savings time indicated), both in the control
panel setting, and in the time zone setting within Outlook calendar
properties.

Anyone know how to correct this?

Where did you create the events - on the computer or using the web
interface? if you create a new one on one of the machines, does the time
get changed?

On the XP computer initially.

But I've also tried some test entries on the MSN Calendar interface (web),
which will transfer correctly to the first Outlook machine which syncs, and
then get a 5 hour shift in Outlook on the other machine when it subsequently
syncs.

Where did you create the events - on the computer or using the web
interface? if you create a new one on one of the machines, does the time
get changed?
