Connection to the Server

Hello Access experts!
I've got some problem. Can someone explain to me the procedure of how to
connect Access 2007 to the local server.
As far as I understand I have to create my own administration system then
with help of database splitter I must split the database into 2 files. One
will contain info about tables other will contain info about forms, rapports,
etc. Then I must create an icon at the desktop through which will come
authorization.
But how to connect database to the local Server? Database will be used of 6
users and has internal purpose of use.
I will be very appreciated if someone will help me!
Best regads,
Lilian

You link the front end to the back end using either a mapped drive letter
(E:\Folder\File.mdb), or a UNC (\\server\share\Folder\File.mdb)

Unless you can be certain that all users map their drives the same way, UNC
is probably better.

Thank you for the answer!
I never connect the database to the Server. Where I have to write a mapped
drive letter(E:\Folder\File.mdb)?
