Connection to BCM database

I too am having trouble connecting to my BCM database. It was connected fine
for months and then last week was no longer connected for some reason. I
have 2 bcm databases in the Business Contact Manager folder, each with an
..ldf and .mdf file. The databases are - MSSmallBusiness and
MSSmallBusiness2. MSSmallBusiness2 is the one that has all my contact data
in it. When I attempt to connect to a database using data file management,
the only database option listed is the MSSmallBusiness database. How do I
connect to the other database where all my data is? Should I import my data
into MSSmallBusiness from MSSmallBusiness2?

You can try installed Sql Mgmt Studio. That will let you see BCM's sql
instance, and what databases are attched to it. The likeley
explanation for why you cannot see MSSmallBusiness2 is that the
database is not attched to the instance. You can attach it with Mgmt
Studio.
