Thanks.

This is just one of the tasks that WindowsPowerPro can do.
Configure/Timers, and u will need a script to clear the monthly totals.
Mine currently shows 78hrs, 22mins, 08secs so far this month .... I
obviously spend too much time online huh :) Lucky I have unlimited
access for a fixed monthly fee.

Current version- http://www.windowspowerpro.com/download/pwrpro38.zip
Latest beta - http://www.windowspowerpro.com/download/ppro3814.zip

Very active web group with lots of ready to download scripts, and very
helpful 'experts', including the programs developer

No Frills Timer

No Frills Timer keeps track of the amount of time you spend connected to
the Internet. It is designed to be small, fast, and reasonably easy to use.

Features:
# Stores total time connected and total number of calls.
# Total time can be reset automatically (daily, weekly or monthly)
# Supports up to 32 simultaneous connections.
# Records all timing information to a log file.
# Warns when your total time exceeds a specified amount.

Thanks but I getting dead link here.
============================
I got a good link and downloaded it with no problem. Now I have to figure
out how to reset it at the end of the month. The helpfile tells you what
the program does, but not how to get it to do these things. :-( I can't
locate the program's reset window.

How do you reset the time at the end of the month? I clicked on "next
reset" and nothing happened. It says I have NO remaining time but I get 200
hours a month!?!??!! How and where do I add the 200 hours so it can keep
track of how many hours I have left?

I downloaded the program and it installed fine on W-XP but this part is
GRAYED out so I can't set or reset anything. How do you get this part to
work? This is FROM the helpfile that came with it. TIA. :)

2.5. Connection / Properties
-----------------------------

Allows you to edit properties for the selected connection.

The Time page allows you to modify the total time for a connection, as
well as the maximum time. You can also configure warnings for when the
total time exceeds the maximum. Note that you can't edit the total time
for a connection while you're connected.

The Resets page allows you to configure automatic resets for a
particular connection. This means that the Total Time and Total Calls
fields can be automatically reset at a specific time on a daily,
weekly, or monthly basis.

This program doesn't work if you have a Satellite service as we do. It
doesn't SEE the connection and doesn't know we're connected to/through our
ISP. It will only work if we don't use the Satellite - which isn't possible
because our connection is so slow (26K).

Highlight the ISP. In the toolbar- Connection/Reset- adjust the numbers.
I use it in W98SE dialup, it works fine.

It only worked with the dial-up directly to my ISP. However, when I
connected through our ISP but also the Satellite server it didn't see the
connection. It only sees it if we don't use the Satellite. We use the
Satellite about 99% of the time. :-(
I downloaded Logtime and it works with the Satellite and sees the connection
but I don't like it as well. I have to open it to see how long I've been
online - it wastes time.

Highlight the ISP name, click on Connection, then Properties.. you can
then set the maximum time from there :)

Am I missing something with this timer? I added the Satellite connection
and yet it still says I'm *not* connected when I am??!??!! The helpfiles
make no mention of what to do in this case. :-(

Web time 2.0

Unfortunately does not appear to run correctly with WinXP
but I have used it for 4 yrs with Win98SE.
A simple small program, it keeps track of several accounts, auto
starts, auto resets on the chosen day, and has other alarm functions.
