Connection issue

Hello

My question is I have a HP netserver LH3000 running
windows 2000 server with a fibercard to a SMC Tiger
switch. I have a Apple share for our Macs doing prepress
work. Every now and then the server will disconnect from
the Mac and leave a ghosted image of the mounted volume.
But if you try to reconnect you can't, if you try to
reconnect at the chooser level you can't. All you can do
is restart. Please help
..

I am having a similar problem where macs just seem to lose their connection
to the share. Mac OS 9.2.2 on G4 desktops connecting to a Windows 2000 SP4
server running Mac File services.
