when I double click on the other computer (in bouth of them) its give the

If you have a firewall enabled, you need to allow the other computers (but
not the Internet) through.

Also, you need to have an identical account on each computer. For example,
if you have Bob, password Sue, on one computer, the same account needs to be
on the other computer. If XP does not connect to a Domain Controller, it
uses local permissions to access files.

By the way, between the two computers, you will need to enable File and
Print Sharing. Do not enable it to the Internet.

David,

The "access denied" error has many causes, from physical network problems to
actual lack of permissions. Want to solve the problem? Start here:

Or provide "browstat status" and "ipconfig /all" from each computer, and we'll
diagnose the problem methodically. Read this article, and linked articles, and
follow instructions precisely:

Run XP's Network Setup Wizard on both computers:

1. On the one that has the ADSL connection, select the connection
method "This computer connects directly to the Internet. The other
computers on my network connect to the Internet through this
computer."

2. On the other computer, the Wizard might detect the shared Internet
connection and ask if you want to use it. If so, say "Yes". If not,
select the connection method "This computer connects to the Internet
through a residential gateway or through another computer on my
network."

If there's a firewall program (Norton, McAfee, ZoneAlarm, PCCillin,
Sygate, etc) on either computer, configure it to allow access on the
local area network. Some firewall programs are incompatible with
sharing an Internet connection on the host computer.
