connecting to mail-programs

I use both IncrediMail and Outlook Express since always. All of a sudden none
of them can connect to my IP. I can however access the Web without problems.
I have XP SP2, but this isn't new...Also got a download from Spamfighter,but
got rid of it while restting the computer as I thought this was the
problem.Nothing changed.What do I do now? My IP is less than helpful (as
always) and refuses to answer my pleas for help. HELP!!
 
What error message from Outlook Express? There is an Error
tab in the Send and Receive Window.

Have you contacted your ISP to check there is no problem with
their mail server?

and thanks. The error message is: 0x800ccc19. Worst case scenario: now it
works and I don't know why! my ISP got my message, but never replied. I
really would like to get more info. about this. I was "out" for two days, and
I suppose it could happen again...
 
You have only posted the error code not the whole message.

You can usually telephone Technical Support but watch the time
on line as that's how the ISP makes money. Many times I have
been told there is nothing wrong with the mail server. However,
many times the problem has cleared in the next 30 minutes.
