Is it possible to connect my PC to my 5.1 DVD system in order to play
internet radio etc through the systms speakers?(wirelessly if possible)

Depends on the features of the gear you have, but it sounds unlikely to me.

I mean: does your DVD-player have audio INputs?

There are wireless transmitters (sets of a sender and a receiver) on the
market that allow to watch television in another room. I paid some EUR 40
for a set, I think.
And no doubt there will be professional wireless audio systems for use on
sound stages.

Check the possibilities you have, and mind the difference between digital
and analoguous connections.
