Configuration Question

I have win2k advanced server attached to 1 network with 4
nic adapters. I connected my laptop using twisted pair
cable. I am trying to configure my lap top so that it
should see the win2k advanced server network. How do you
accomplish that?

1. Get rid of the 3 other nics in the Server.

2. Use a compatible address on the laptop, or run a properly configured DHCP
on the Server and set the laptop's network settings to Automatic.
