Dual Honing Servers and resilience

Hi,
what's the best practise to do the following...

1 win2k server with 2 NICs and 2 switches connecting to backbone vlans...

how will i configure the 2 nics to give me resilience if a network switch or
cable or nic were to fail...

"Teaming" is the *only* way it will work. Without "teaming" it just
flat-out will not work.

Without "teaming", all you have is this:
