What the?

Any ideas? I've tried making a new config but the error appears all the

BlueMonkey,

What version of the toolkit you are playing with?
When you get the error - at build phase, dependency check, etc?
Do you see the component in the log that is responsible for the error?
Can you share you test SLX?

I get the error when I open my SLX. Tried opening some others and I get the
error then, but not always. Tried making a new slx and even before I had
five comoponents I got the error when I hit the Dep Check.

Played around some more last night and managed to get no errors but they do
come from time to time.

I can share my SLX with you, but how do you want to do that? I can skype it
to you or reg email.

Sounds weird.

Any chance you are running AV software on that development station? (anti-virus or any other file locking software?)

Also, double check if the version of the WSH (windows Script Host) engine is at least 5.6 there. (run cscript command and check out
the output)

You can share you SLX if you create a thread on www.xpefiles.com and attach the file to that thread.

Yeah my dev box has WSH 5.6, and I am running AV ( AVG ). AVG isn't exactly
one of those pesky progs that hogs your system. My verison of TD is
2.0.1024.0. I reckon it's not my SLX but something wrong with my dev box.

Looks like I'll have to do some work refreshing my setup.

You think just a re-install of TD would help?

Thanks heap KM. You've been a big help. I reckon I'll work it out.

Good to hear from you.

BlueMonkey,

You definitely want to turn off (disable or uninstall) the AV software on XPe dev machine. It's been known as a source of problems
while using XPe Toolkit.

Thanks KM.

I'v since discovered massive issues with my dev box. The SQL Server was
having a hissy fit, as well as other progs and services on my system.

I will turn off the AV when using the tools. Good tip.

Cheers!
