Configurate DNS and RAS of Window 2000 network

I set up a basic network with a Windows 2000 DNS server, a RAS server and client. The connection between DNS and RAS server is through Ethernet cable. The connection between RAS and client is through RS232 with PPP protocol. Following Microsoft’s installation instruction, I can ping RAS(168.192.2.23) from client and ping DNS from RAS server, but fail to DNS server(168.192.2.1) from client. Need help to trouble-shoot this network.

Hi

Have you tried to trace the DNS server from the client?
