Wow, bad luck.

But as the others have said, you're probably well out of it.

At the end of the day, politics supersede everything. Once the hidden
agendas get into the picture, the facts tend to disappear out the
window.

Good luck,

Thanks, everyone, for the compliments, and being open enough to see that it
could very well not be me that caused such BS in the workplace. You guys
don't even know me, which proved that you were going on facts and logic, not
politics. I'm not the latest and greatest on computers, but definitely am
comfortable with them. As a topper, let me show you my website, which I
admittedly haven't updated in a while, which exemplifies some various art
stuff I enjoy toying with. It's www.peachyplanet.com, in case anyone cares
or is bored--lol.

Another unprofessional situation just occurred: I checked my online bank
account summary of actions, and it shows a direct deposit of some certain
amount from my job, yet I never turned in my hours. You see, they always
asked me what my hours are (they are too busy to keep track of them), because
I had a blend of base rate plus a "per bill" rate. Somehow, though, someone
(cough, cough::Rachel::cough, cough) put in the hours on their own, without
verifying with me just how much work I had done! I'll hafta look into it
later as to whether too little or otherwise was rudely deposited. Can we all
scream UNPROFESSIONALISM?

Oh, and something regarding the VB subject: I believe Dave and Rachel will
look good, because I have a feeling somehow my version/program was not
updated with the fixes, yet what they got there is updated and OK. I have a
feeling they'll end up coming out crap-free. Just a hypothesis...

Oh gee, I also forgot to give back the info for my boss's website I
recreated, with passwords and everything. But I'm just a moron--I can design
sites, etc., but can't put in data entry--lol. It's Friday the 13th--I'm
feeling frisky!

Glad there's a lot of (lol) in your post. You must realise anyway
(even without the comments from other posters, which I second
completely!) that you're well out of there.

your account of the meeting with your boss, with the b*tch in the next
room, would be unbelievable if I hadn't come across similar situations
myself. I'll gladly scream UNPROFESSIONALISM with you!

sometimes the setup in an office is so f**ked-up that it's just
psychotic, and the best thing to do is walk-not-run to the nearest exit
and leave them to their sad little world. Otherwise, your options are

a) being trampled on, or
b) turning into one of THEM (aarrhhhhh!)

just exited myself a couple of months ago, giving 7 weeks' notice -
whereupon they tried to withhold a month's pay on the grounds that I
didn't stay as long as they wanted! Got it back by threatening court
action. Moved on and found that, in fact, most people in the world are
pretty sane and OK to work for...

good luck!
