System Specs: AMD Athlon XP 2.02GHz (cant remember the nnumber 2400 - 2600 i
think)
Corsair 512MB DDR SDRAM
Gigabyte 7VAXP MoBo
64MB nVidia GeForce 2 MX/400 (frm my old machine)
350W generic (came with the case) PSU
2 donkey old CD drives (CD/RW and DVD-ROM)
Maxtor 120 GB HDD

Other THings:
Cordless Optical Mouse
Packard Bell Graphics Tablet
Motorola Surfboard SB4100 Cable Modem
Generally the basic thing called a keyboard

Right the problem now:

MY PC has been fine for the first 3 weeks of operation. Smooth as a baby's
bum. Then just after its 3 week birthday, I hit the power button, the HDD
LED and power LED came on, CD drives flashed, but monitor stood in standby
and the computer didnt move its ass and boot up. I tugged and yanked
everything in and out of the case, and still nowt!

After about an hour of resetting the prat it started to boot up hurrah! But
its not just froma cold start up. I just installed my graphics tablet
drivers this afternoon, and restarted like the machine nicely asked me too
and again it wouldnt boot up, and sat there like a fat pudding.
Again I yanked and pulled and still muck all (language is being
restrained:D). And about 30 minutes on hurrah boot up.

I think you need a new, good power supply. The one you have isn't
adequate for all the hardware you've got in that box.
