Bot Up Problems

This afternoon I went to switch my computer on, and it would not boot up.
My monitor power light kept flashing as if nothing was happening although my
CD drves would open. It took about 5 attempts to get the beast up and
running after twiddling around the back with the cables.


Was it a loose cable or something else. My PC is only 4 weeks old.

512MB DDR SDRAM (Corsair)
XP Pro
Gigabyte 7VAXP MoBo
64MB nVidia GeForce 2 MX/400

Sounds like a loose cable to me. I would check all your connections and
make sure they are secure.
