I have a mpg file that I want to delete, and everytime I go to delete it, my
computer says that it is being temporarily used by another program. But it
ISN'T. Ive restarted my comp 5 times already to see if it will delete, and it
wont.

Take a whip to it and tell it who is boss. Or you could start in safe mode
and delete it from there. See a previous posting on how to get into safe
mode.

safe mode is good way to delete that file,
but this problem sometimes occurs when you are in the thumbnail mode (or
when select the movie, thumbnail loads)
restart your system normally and go to command line, then delete the file
with the "Del" command,
it needs some information about dos but i prefer it!!!

It would be best to boot into Safe Mode, search for the file,
then delete it.
