Hello ALL,
This problem started after I installed a new network card without remove the
old one from Device manager.
I simply shut down the computer pulled the power cord, removed the cover,
removed the old NIC and installed the replacement NIC.
No when ever I click on Start, Shut down the computer "appears to" shut
down for about 3 to 5 seconds then it starts up again.
This is annoying at best.
I have removed all the references to the old NIC in the registry and that
did not help.
Thanks in advance for any suggestions that may fix this Windows Annoyance
