I'm running a pentium 4 processor with 1/2 gig ram. My
system started experiencing problems after installing
easy cd creator 5 platinum. I finally got fed up and
uninstalled the software. Now my computer is very
sluggish. It takes about 5 minutes to boot up. I also
get a very delayed response when clicking on the start
menu to select an application, as well as delayed
response when double clicking on My Computer from the
desktop. My system didn't exhibit any of these
performance issues before installing the cd burning
software.

Anyone with any suggestions on why this is happening or
solutions for resolving the performance issues?

thanks,

zach

When you uninstalled the program, did you use there
uninstall option or ADD/REMOVE programs option.Try re-
installing and then look for a uninstall option in easy
cd creater listings. If that option don't exist, remove as
before and if same problem appears go to search and
delete anything listed for easy cd creater...Good luck.

use system restore to go back to the date before you've
installed cd creator.

Use the system restore utility found in these menus:
Start - Help and Support - click on "undo changes to your
computer with System Restore" in lower left corner of
screen. Read the explanation of what to do. I've used it
and it worked well for me.

Good luck
