Computer switches on automatically in Windows XP Professional

I turn the computer off b-4 I go to bed and when I come home from work the
next day the computer is on.
 
Have a look at the identical item posted here just two hours before yours .

Check in the BIOS setup program for "Wake on" settings (Wake on LAN or
similar). Turn them all off.
