I came back to my house one night and found my computer constantly rebooting.
I turned it off and back on, and XP is suddenly very slow, and would not
connect to my wireless network. I ran a virus check with McAfree, checked it
with SpyBot and AdAware and it's still troubling. There's no one program
eating up CPU resources, it's mainly idling. Also, checking for hardware
trouble, I ran Microsoft ME that I had dual booted on my other hard drive in
case this happened. Sure enough, it ran fine and connected to the internet.
Tried a repair install of XP too, to no avail. Any ideas on what happened?
