I get this message when starting my computer Reboot and Select proper Boot
device or insert Boot Media in selected boot device. It takes several
attempts for my computer to even boot up.

Try entering Bios and setting the proper boot order. You typically enter
bios by using the delete key at the end of initial boot process. (sometimes
F1 or F10 keys).

The boot order most commonly is set to A:, C:,

C: is typically the boot harddrive.

This may sound trivial, but have you removed your music, game, or dvd
cd from your computer prior to booting?
