computer shutting down when I logged on to internet

The error is Win32 Services has encountered a problem.
Then RPC was terminated computer will shut down

Any Ideas.

I checked for viruses

Cleaned and ready to go.

Same problem here.... Thought it was the Blaser Worm --
Used the fix from Symantec. No effect -- Still has this
problem.

Any ideas?
 
you also have the blaster worm. unless you updated your
defs last night it is not up to date and even though it
shows clean it is n't. read the post"RPC error,what i used
to fix it ". this is what u need to do.david
 
Also do they do as Symantec said about turning off System Restore first
before running the removal tool and also installing the patch as directed?
