hi,
i have M-pro installed with win xp...it restarts by it own
atleast once in a day...may i know wht cud be some
possible factor for this behaviour?i checked event log but
none is favorable of this issue...the fan is running too..
any idea?

TIA

It's possible an application is generating a severe error; WinXP, by default, is set to restart the machine when this occurs. I'm not my XP machine now, so I'm not sure exactly where the option is to turn it off, but I would suggest starting with System Properties (right-click My Computer, click Properties). Check for an Advaced option someplace; you'll be looking for a checkbox that says something about restarting the system. Sorry I can't be more specific with my directions..
