computer restarting-i need help

i am having a problem with my computer restarting when i
start up IE or when i am just browsing. it is a pain in
the ass, need help to solve this..please help!!!!

if you are using xp go to the system icon on the control
panel page. check the advanced tab and look at the
startup and recovery options. about 2/3 of the way done
the page look for autmatic reboot and uncheck. this may
take you to the blue screen but you will know the error.
 
all the mvp's here usually say blaster worm cause you did
not patch your system. and turn on the xp crappy firewall
in modem settings.
 
Jeff, rather a lot to dig through but it might be spyware that's not
installed properly or just basically crap. Try these links below, sorry it
will take some time and may not be the answer but it's the first place to
start recently as spyware is becoming a real major nuisance.

Can you recall installing anything or visiting anywhere just before this
trouble started?
