Computer restart

All of a sudden my computer starts to restart all by
itself. I've run virus software. Didn't find a virus.I
then formated the C drv. Still restarts. Could it be a
hardware failure like the monotor or the video card
dieing. Help please.

To see the error message, and begin your diagnosis, turn off "automatic
restart", under Control Panel|SYSTEM|ADVANCED|START UP AND RECOVER.

Sure it could be a hardware problem like overheating or even a bad or
underpowered power supply that started happening after you installed the
4 new devices you got for xmas.
