Computer reboot and breaker switch tripped

Hi,

Earlier today I rebooted my computer after a breaker switch was
tripped. After Windows XP Home was finished loading, I had a directory
appear called "C:\Program Files\Common". The item that appears on this
screen is the sub-directory "DirectX 9.0".

It does not disappear when the computer is finished booting - - I had
to manually close it and rebooting the computer again didn't remove
this extra process.

Try a System Restore prior to the problem and see if it fixes it.
Start > Programs > Accessories > System Tools > System Restore.

Hi Khari,

I agree with Brian. The restore will replace all monitored files that may
have been corrupted by the dirty shutdown.
