Computer locked

I just got a used laptop and it says it is locked and that the administrator
can only unlock it. Is there a way to change this so that I can get on it
without having to go through a few different screens to get around this?

If I bought a used computer, the first thing I would do with it would be to
reinstall the operating system cleanly. You have no idea how the computer
has been maintained, what has been installed incorrectly, what is missing,
what viruses and spyware there may be, etc. I wouldn't want to live with
somebody else's mistakes and problems, possibility of kiddie porn, etc., and
I wouldn't recommend that anyone else do either.
 
How do I do this and what all do I have to do? It has some games on it that
are nice.

How to do it depends on what computer it is and what comes with it. You
should check the documentation, or if you don't have it, contact the
manufacturer to find out
