Computer Freezes..

My computer freezes as if it is running too many things at once. Not sure as
to whether it is virus related or a simple hardware solution. Recently
upgraded my hard drive and OS to 60G hard drive and XP Home OS. Shortly
after this I downloaded Norton 2006 which had been running on old hard drive.
For 2 months now I have had more and more frequent hard freezes on my
computer. I have plenty of RAM memory1.1G. This also sounds like a common
problem that no one has the answer to. Please send a reply....

By freezing do you mean your computer locks up and you have to power it off
in order to reboot it?
If so, that could be an indication of a faulty power supply.
