Computer Freezes

My 2 year old computer keeps freezing I don't have a reset button and when I
go with ctrl-alt-del it never responds so I have to hold down the power
button for a few seconds to restart it I have Norton Anti Virus along with
the Systemworks and Internet Security I weekly run a system scan for any
virus all is pretty much up to date I'm afraid the continual power off button
will mess up something
