Computer Beeps at Logon

When users logon on to the network their computer beeps through the
computers speaker, not their desktop speakers. There are no errors being
logged. When someone with administrative rights logs in there is no beep.
We are running a windows 2000 advanced server network in native mode.

Thanks for your help in advance.
 
Logon script error maybe? The scripts doing something the user does not have
permissions to do, but an admins do.
