Beep Codes

My Computer is running fairly well, until lately I have has problems with
freezing and unknown beep codes. When I startup everything works fine, until
I log on, and when everything is done loading, I get one low beep. Then,
everything is fine. Then about 5 minutes later it happend again. Then it's
fine, and never beeps, until next time I startup and logon This has been
going for about a week now. Any pointers?

Where are the beeps coming from? Do they still occur if you have your
computer's speakers turned off?

They Come from the speakers when they are on, but from the computer when they
are off.
