compressed folders extraction wizard

N

Nancy Earle

I have XP home edition and am having trouble with a
zipped folder. When I right click on the folder and click
on 'extract all', the wizard window comes up. However,
when I use the default directory as to where the files
should be extracted and click 'Next', I get no error
message and the directory name is still highllighted in
blue but nothing happens. I have tried using different
directory paths and I get the same result - nothing!

This is a big folder - 57.8 MB containing about 18 files
(This information was found when I scanned the folder
using Norton)
Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong? Thanks

Hi Scooter,

You may be doing nothing wrong. Try this:

Start/run "regsvr32 zipfldr.dll"

and see if it helps.
